2026 marks the 30th anniversary of the Persona series! To celebrate this major milestone, ATLUS recently announced a special project that will bring tears to the eyes of long-time fans—three legendary Persona LIVE concerts will be made permanently available for free on the official ATLUS GAME MUSIC YouTube channel. No payment required and no viewing deadline; players can relive every moving musical chapter at any time.

Since the first title debuted in 1996, the Persona series has captured the hearts of countless players worldwide with its unique blend of RPG combat, social simulation, and deep narrative. Its music is considered among the best in the industry. As the series reaches its 30th year, ATLUS has decided to give back to fans with a sincere gift—three treasure-tier concert videos, now permanently available on YouTube.

The first release is the PERSONA MUSIC FES 2013, held at the Nippon Budokan. It premiered on YouTube on April 29, 2026. This performance covers music from Persona 3 (Original, FES, The Movie) and Persona 4 (Original, Golden, the Animation, P4U Arena), marking the first time the series performed at the Budokan—a moment of great significance for veteran fans.

The second is PERSONA SUPER LIVE 2015 ~NIGHT OF THE PHANTOM~, with the release date to be announced. The subtitle “NIGHT OF THE PHANTOM” hinted at the arrival of Persona 5 elements. The setlist is even broader, including Persona 4: Dancing All Night (P4D), P4U2, and Persona Q, allowing fans to experience the essence of various series entries.

The third is PERSONA SUPER LIVE P-SOUND BOMB!!!! 2017. The subtitle “Witness the Crime at the Port!” is a clear homage to the Phantom Thief theme of Persona 5. This was the first major concert centered on P5 music, with a tracklist spanning Persona 2: Innocent Sin, P3, P4, PQ, and P5. Hits like “Life Will Change” and “Last Surprise” are sure to get fans pumped.

Developed by ATLUS, the Persona series has led the JRPG trend with breakthrough designs since the birth of “Revelations: Persona” in 1996. Music has always been the unforgettable soul of this series.

Persona 3 (2006) used a somber “death” theme paired with rock and hip-hop fusion, making “Mass Destruction” and “Burn My Dread” eternal melodies for players. Persona 4 (2008) set the stage in a rural town with a bright rock style that perfectly matched the mystery-solving story; “Reach Out to the Truth” became one of the series’ iconic songs.

Persona 5 (2016) pushed the series’ music to a global peak. The jazz-style music composed by Shoji Meguro swept the charts, with “Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There” and “Rivers in the Desert” becoming unforgettable even for non-players. The success of Persona 5 further established Joker in the Western market, making it ATLUS’s most popular work to date.

In addition to the free concerts, ATLUS has prepared a series of exciting events for the 30th anniversary. Character designer Shigenori Soejima created a special key visual featuring all series protagonists from P1 to P5X, showcasing the artistic evolution of the series over 30 years. Other activities include a merchandise collaboration with Daimaru Matsuzakaya Department Store, a 30th Anniversary Orchestral Concert tour (covering Tokyo, Kyoto, etc.), and a Fitness Boxing crossover.

Notably, the mobile title “Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X)” is also participating in the 30th-anniversary festivities. The new protagonist appears in the commemorative illustrations, symbolizing a new chapter for the series in mobile gaming. If you haven’t tried P5X yet, the 30th-anniversary atmosphere might be the perfect time to start!
Honestly, as a player who started with Persona 3, I was moved to tears by this news. Attending a Persona LIVE at the Nippon Budokan was a dream for many; now ATLUS has decided to share that emotion for free with fans worldwide. This level of sincerity is truly touching.
These three concerts span the series’ golden age—from P3 to P5. Behind every song are the memories of countless players. Whether you are a 30-year veteran or a new fan from P5X, it is absolutely worth spending an evening with a cup of coffee to enjoy these performances.
With the 30th anniversary approaching, ATLUS clearly has more good news in store. Stay tuned to HN Game News for the latest updates!
